High Protection Company is focused on providing complete armor protection to each of our clients vehicles.  Part of that protection is to help ensure that if and when an attack occurs not only will they survive the initial attack but that they will be able to get out of immediate danger and commute to a safe zone.  An integral component of any armoring package is the attention we pay to the wheels and tires of each vehicle.  If you can survive and attack and you cannot flee from the target zone that can be a problem.  HPC adds an optional Run Flat Tire System with our armoring systems that allows the vehicle to travel up to 60 miles at 60 mph (depending on road conditions) on flattened tires.  These devices are capable of temporarily carrying the weight of the vehicle, even after the tire has lost all air pressure.  The Run Flat device is a sturdy “ring” device designed, molded and installed around the wheel rim inside the tires themselves .  The “doughnut” type device keeps the tire rubber from being pinched or shredded between the wheel and the road surface.  When tires deflate, the ring supports the tire tread and preserves traction and control until arrival at a safe location.  These devices have been rigorously tested and proven to help keep the vehicle moving by allowing traction and control to be maintained after an attack.  HPC recommends the use of these devices for all our clients vehicles.
